Congratulations to Western Writers of America’s 2022 Spur Award Winners!


Since 1953 Western Writers of America has honored those that write in regards to the American West with its prestigious Spur Awards. This 12 months high honors go to Irene Bennett Brown, a Kansas-based writer of historic and juvenile novels, who will obtain WWA’s Owen Wister Award for lifetime contributions to Western literature.
